THE SHORT BLUE BESAMIM

was embroidered with joy and crochet threads and gold beads in 2016.

The vibrant blues and brown colors

look elegant in every living room or dining room.

The Besamim is a spice box that we use

at the Havdala ceremony at the end of the Shabbat day.

We smell and say the blessing over the spices

to chase away our depressing thoughts.

We have just finished a beautiful and relaxing Shabbat,

and now we have to return to the busy,

hectic, and everyday schedule of the weekdays.

It is one of a set of three:
